A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
A tiny fantasy RPG.
Press N for new game.
You begin as a rogue, eventually can change your class in town.
In the top left, you will see your health, current [maximum].
Press Z to see your Ztats (statistics).
You begin outside the Village of Bridgerton.
You can go north to enter and learn about the world, or just go wandering.
— W — (or arrows)
A S D move around
. wait a turn
Move into enemies to hit them, NPCs to talk to them.
Shift-WASD will turn without moving.
Press SPC to attack an enemy or NPC ahead of you, T to talk to them.
Sometimes enemies can be pacified or have interesting things to say,
sometimes NPCs are worth killing instead of talking to.
ESC brings up the menu.
If you're having problems with audio, [O]ptions [A]udio will toggle it off.f

I regret killing all those bosses now that I am a powerful wizard (the implication of which is that monsters and I can talk things out and not fight any more).
Unrelatedly, or relatedly actually my mastodon is unconscious.
Oh I only just thought to check that wall and found the queen.
Well talking is totally broken it turns out, gg shogg
This is fun, and the voiced effects are a nice touch!
And it just worked (I launched it from the terminal – which is error-prone on Guix as Linux distro – it didn’t have any issues).
But I died a lot :-)
